About KIDS
KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.
We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years.  Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

About The Role

The Assistant Finance Business Partner will report directly to the Finance Business to the Finance Business Partner and work closely with the other members of the finance team.

Some aspects of the role entail the production of monthly management accounts and reports, annual budgets and forecasts, regular financial monitoring for stakeholders and financial performance analysis.

The salary is negotiable depending on experience.

This is a fixed term role for 1 year.

36 hours per week, working remotely from home

About You
The successful candidate will need to be AAT Qualified with post qualification experience in a Assistant Management Accountant or Assistant Finance Business Partner Role
In addition, to be able to carry out this role it is essential that you have the following:
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, especially with non-finance staff and professionals.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive manner in dealing with queries.
  • Knowledge and experience of assisting with the preparing of financial information, including budgets, management accounts and variance reports.
  • High degree of competence in the use of Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, to conflicting deadlines and to prioritise effectively.
