About KIDS
KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.

We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years. Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

We are passionate, caring and trusted and our vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations. We offer support and practical help for families, every step of the way.

About The Role

Do you have skills in research and an aptitude to understand complex issues and present convincing arguments?  Can you interpret financial information and use it to underpin a strong business case?

Do you want to work in a job with a social purpose and have a structured training programme in place to support your development?

If so, then this could be for you, you will develop a wide range of sought after skills setting you up to progress in the direction you choose

KIDS is a charity working to support disabled children, young people and their families. Each year we need to raise voluntary income to enable us to deliver our work and we need two Development Executives to join us.

About You

To be able to carry out this role it is essential that the right candidate has the following characteristics:

  • Experience of working in an office environment - could be on a voluntary or intern basis.
  • Evidence of being able to think analytically and creatively - could be through either work or studies.
  • Understanding of or experience of the voluntary sector - perhaps you have been a volunteer whilst a student or done some fundraising for RAG.
  • Evidence of working as part of a team and having taken responsibility for a project or initiative.
