Summer Play Scheme Review

Summer Recruitment Review 2020

This year our Summer Play Schemes were a great success and triumphed against the setbacks the pandemic had brought. We followed the new guidelines set by the government and made sure that our play schemes adapted and overcame any issues we faced. The main focus was to create safe, enjoyable spaces for children in order to give them their summer that they deserved.

We came together as One Team KIDS to continue to support disabled children, young people and their families, and all roles on the front line as well as those in support services worked tirelessly in order to keep our charity going.

The children we support had so much fun taking part in art projects, clay modeling, games, sports and playing with bubbles! Keeping to set social groups our amazing staff were able to support so many families! We also took part in virtual programmes that involved baking and arts and crafts.

If you are interested in working in our play schemes then we are currently recruiting for play workers in areas all over England.
