About KIDS

KIDS is a national charity which has been supporting disabled children, young people and their families since 1970.

We work with children, irrespective of their disability or impairment, from birth through to 25 years.  Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

We are passionate, caring and trusted and our vision is a world in which all disabled children and young people realise their aspirations. We offer support and practical help for families, every step of the way.

About The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide domiciliary care that supports individual children and young people with disabilities. The care will be within their family homes. This is a sessional position offering flexible working hours during evenings, weekends and school holidays. Various locations of work are available in the Lincolnshire area depending on the needs and the location of the family.
We require Domiciliary Care Workers for the following areas:
  • Grantham NG31
  • Boston PE10
  • Spalding PE11
  • Stamford PE9

About You

Could you be who we are looking for?

KIDS are looking for fun and caring people to support children and young people with disabilities across Lincolnshire, in their family homes. Each child is different and has varying needs and abilities and we do our best to match each child with the right worker.

Could you help a child like Mia?

Mia is a happy little girl who laughs a lot , watches YouTube and likes being sung to, especially funny songs that make her laugh even more. Mia enjoys her evening bath which helps her to relax, before being helped into her PJ’s. Mia has a healthy appetite and enjoys being around the table to eat her meal with the family before being put to bed.

You would need to be available early mornings and evenings to support children to get up and ready for school in the morning and ready for bed in the evening, you need to be caring compassionate and have good communication skills. Ideally you will be a driver with access to your own vehicle. (Mileage allowance given)

Experience is not essential as full training and support will be given
